Alberta's Water for Life strategy contemplates its implementation to occur through "shared governance" among government, industry and the public. But we have yet to define exactly how shared governance would be implemented. University of Calgary professors, Mary-Ellen Tyler and Mike Quinn, and Danielle Droitsch, former Executive Director of Bow Riverkeeper, shared their thoughts about shared governance in the watershed context.
Shared Governance I — A Regional (watershed) Perspective discusses shared governances more genarally. This page also includes presenter bios and questions and answers from the discussion that followed parts I and II.
NOTE: Water Matters would like to thank the board of the Mountain Parks Watershed Association for approving the use of these presentations on our website.
